How to buy

Buying livestock from us, step by step

A clear process from your first message to delivery on your farm. Everything is confirmed in writing, and nothing is payable until you have accepted our quote.

Choose your animals

Browse our cattle, goats, sheep and pigs and decide on the species, breed, age group and number of animals you need.

Send your request through our quote form or by email. Include your delivery town or province and when you need the animals.

Receive your written quote

We confirm availability, the price per animal and the transport cost to your farm, usually within one working day.

Confirm your order

Happy with the quote? Reply to our email or give us a call to accept it. We then confirm the animals, delivery date and final amount in writing.

Invoice and payment

We send an official invoice from DRM LIVE STOCK. Please only pay into the business account shown on that invoice.

Delivery to your farm

Your animals are loaded and transported to your farm on the agreed date. We keep you updated by phone and email along the way.

What to have ready

Having these details to hand means we can give you an accurate quote the first time.

Species and breed

For example Bonsmara cattle, Boer goats or Dorper sheep.

Age group and quantity

Such as 20 weaners, 10 pregnant ewes or 2 breeding bulls.

Delivery area

Your nearest town and province, so we can quote transport.

Timeframe

When you need the animals on your farm.

Buying safely

Livestock fraud is a real problem in South Africa. Whoever you buy from, these simple checks protect you.

Check the company

Look up the seller on the CIPC register. Ours is DRM LIVE STOCK, Company No. K2023207798.

Agree on delivery

Confirm the delivery date, route and transport cost before the animals leave the farm.

Get it in writing

Make sure the quote and invoice list the animals, prices and delivery terms.

Pay a business account

Only pay into the business bank account shown on the official invoice.

How do I get a price?

Use our quote form or email info@drmlivestocks.co.za with the breed, age group, quantity and your delivery area. We reply with current availability, the price per animal and transport costs, usually within one working day.

Do you deliver?

Yes. We arrange transport to farms across South Africa. Transport is quoted separately, based on distance, the number of animals and loading requirements.

How soon can you deliver?

It depends on availability and the distance to your farm. Your written quote includes the expected delivery date, and we confirm it with you before the animals are loaded.

How do I pay?

Once you have confirmed your order in writing, we send an invoice from DRM LIVE STOCK (Company No. K2023207798, VAT No. 4640323079). Please only pay into the business account shown on our official invoice.
