DRM Livestock (“we”, “us”) supplies cattle, goats, sheep and pigs in South Africa. Our website is https://drmlivestocks.co.za. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, request a quote, use our chat assistant or contact us on WhatsApp or email, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, location and the livestock you are interested in. Our website also automatically collects basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange sales and delivery, keep records required by law, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies needed for the website to work, and Google Analytics and Google Search Console (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Third-party services
Some services we use process information on our behalf, including our web host (Hostinger), Google (analytics), WhatsApp (messaging) and our email provider. These providers have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and customer records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete them securely.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
